Venus Williams became an inspiration for young aspiring players around the world during her prime. The elder Williams sister has won many tournaments, which have enabled her to engage in several charitable ventures throughout her life. Recently, she took part in Lacoste’s venture to bring tennis to areas that are less fortunate, along with their brand ambassador.

Williams joined Lacoste after parting ways with Nike last year. She became the global brand ambassador for the apparel brand and has worked with them ever since. Her recent campaign with them is another sign of their strong partnership.

Lacoste celebrated their 90th anniversary on May 3, 2023. To commemorate their anniversary, they began the renovation of two tennis courts in the Bronx. The two courts were abandoned and desolate before Lacoste decided to swoop in and renovate them. Silhouettes of Williams are also embedded on the court with the iconic green of Lacoste.
They shared the news on their Instagram account along with their brand ambassador, Venus Williams. The video showed glimpses of the event they held. It showed Williams playing tennis, conducting drills, and guiding those interested in learning. It starts off with Williams saying, “Hey, welcome to my court.”
Along with the video, they shared the caption, “Celebrated our 90th anniversary with the New York City tennis communities in the Bronx by renovating 2 tennis courts powered by @venuswilliams! ✨. In collaboration with @cpfnyc, these courts will aim to provide long-term access to tennis for the youth of the Bronx through a program that is both sports-oriented and educational.”

The brand also shared several pictures of the event on their Instagram page. As this event has earned them much traction, their older events with Williams are also going viral.

As the partnership between Williams and Lacoste became stronger, the American player joined them for more projects. One of their projects took place on a tennis court. Two pictures from their joint venture went viral. Williams was photographed at the net wearing a baby pink and white striped top and a white tennis skirt. In another outfit, she wore a maroon and white striped long-sleeve top with matching shorts.

Lacoste has struck gold with the seven-time grand slam champion. Now, they are making use of her popularity even more to increase their ventures in the racket sport.
