The weather is forecasted to remain dry throughout the tournament, with very little chance of rainfall. However, southerly winds starting Friday until the end of the event remain a matter of grave concern. The expected winds can make it difficult for the golfers to keep the trajectory of the ball in the desired direction and speed.
Starting Thursday, sunny skies are expected to shine upon the excited fans and players present on the greens. The winds are expected to blow in the east-southeast direction on Day 1 at a speed of 5 to 10 mph. There is just an 8% chance of precipitation.
Moving on to Day 2, the mercy of nature is supposed to linger. With the temperature set at 78°F, it is expected to remain mostly clear. However, the southerly winds will gain pervasive focus from Friday to Sunday and blow at a fast speed of 15 to 25mph. The third day is predicted to have partly cloudy skies. The temperature will go as high as 82°F, whereas the chances of precipitation remain stagnant at 7%.

On Sunday, the Tour and its fans might face a little hurdle in the form of an overcast. Like the preceding events, it is possible that the dark clouds will impede vision on the day of the final round of the event. There will also be increased chances of rainfall, set strongly at 17%. With the weather looking better this weekend, who are the golfers who will be ready to cash in the clearer skies?

One player that everyone will be eyeing at the event is definitely the world number one golfer. It is highly likely that if the cards align, Scheffler can grab the winner’s cut from the hefty prize purse. After all, his recent win at Bay Hill, coupled with his historic enigma at TPC Sawgrass, makes it just natural for the fans to hope for his third win.

As per the weather reports, the event will likely not face any natural hurdles that a few previous events, such as the WM Pheonix Open, At&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM, Puerto Rico Open, and others, had to undergo! Who will win the event and who will succumb to the pressure remains a question only time can answer.
