Valentina Shevchenko has been on a winning streak since 2018. Her latest victory over Taila Santos at UFC 275 gained immense attention from various flyweights. One such challenge was issued by the Japanese warrior, Rin Nakai. Nakai recently secured a stoppage victory over Aoi Kuriyama with a rear-naked choke at Deep Jewels 40, Tokyo. Without a doubt, the victor sought to fight Shevchenko after admitting that she was indeed one of the best fighters in the world of mixed martial arts.
Later, Robert Sargent from MMA Rising took to Twitter and relayed Nakai’s words to Shevchenko. Surprisingly, the polite callout was accepted by the Kyrgyz and Peruvian mixed martial artist, but with a condition attached. Furthermore, ‘Bullet’ congratulated the Japanese fighter for her latest win. Nakai then replied to Shevchenko and revealed her desire to fight her.
