The 7-time NBA All-Star paid attention to his diet and cut out sugar as much as possible.

He added, “He doesn’t have to put weight immediately because it might affect how he moves, his flexibility, but the sky is the limit. If he takes his time and hopefully, knock on wood, he can stay off injuries. Man, the sky is the limit for that guy. I hope he can lead San Antonio, which is a great organization, a winning franchise, to more championships.”
Wembanyama checks the boxes in all other squares except his lean and slight frame. However, he needs to be careful because adding too much weight at once can also compromise other facets of his game. Just a few pounds to endure the rigors of the NBA game would be ideal for the French phenom.
