From cheering for her boyfriend, Frances Tiafoe, to pushing for diversity in tennis, Ayan Broomfield is now making an impact in both her personal and professional life. Although she doesn’t play the sport actively, she once said, “I have my foot in everything with tennis without being on the court competing 24-7. I still love the sport and have spent 20-odd years in it.” She has always been passionate about seeing tennis become a truly inclusive sport. Adding more to that note, she recently launched her new YouTube vlog, Ayan’s Aces, an initiative focused on bringing diversity to tennis. A few days ago, she made that announcement through an IG reel. In that small video clip, she even practiced with Tiafoe. Recently, yet again, a video resurfaced on the internet featuring their “tennis date.” What was Tiafoe’s reaction to that video clip, though?
Three days ago, Ayan Broomfield shared a video of their practice session with the caption, “I love a tennis date night.” In that video clip, she was heard saying, “We’re out at the Court and we’re going to play some points. We haven’t been on the court together in a while. So let’s see how it goes.” Frances Tiafoe was seen making Broomfield run for every point. And later on, he reshared that video clip on his IG stories with the caption, “Yes, this came out insane.”
A few days later, Tiafoe yet again shares that same video clip but with a different caption. This time he wrote, “This was a vibbbbee.” The pair had been dating for nearly ten years before they announced their relationship publicly in 2018. Their shared tennis background brought them closer to each other. They often reflect their love for the sport through moments like these. In a previous interview, Broomfield revealed that she gets competitive when the two hit together.

“Frances and I, we will go out and hit a little bit. But I am super competitive, so I’m always ready to play points. He’s like, ‘Ayan, can we just have a chill hit?’ Actually, last time I think I got him. I kind of had the game figured out,” she said while recalling the moments from their previous meeting on the court.
Not only in tennis but even in golf, their competitiveness is still the same. In February this year, both of them were spotted enjoying a golfing session. Ayan Broomfield even shared a few glimpses of their big swings on the lush green grass with the caption, “so, we suck … but a Sunday afternoon well spent 🫶🏽.” After seeing this post, Frances Tiafoe reshared that post on his social media with a cheeky caption, “Why you lying to the world and only posting my bad shots im him at golf 😂😂😂 @ayan.broomfield.”
Recently, the couple, both Broomfield and Tiafoe, had quite a few memorable moments in Monte Carlo. Let’s take a look at some of those interesting moments featuring these two tennis stars.
Despite an early exit, Frances Tiafoe and his girlfriend are enjoying their time to the fullest in Monte Carlo
Although Ayan Broomfield‘s status is inactive on the professional level, she is still very much active on the Tour. Kudos to her incredible support for Tiafoe! Recently, she accompanied her boyfriend, Frances Tiafoe in Monaco. After her arrival in the beautiful city of Monte Carlo, she shared a series of photos and videos on her social media handle. In one of her videos, she even enjoyed the stunning views from her balcony. Broomfield captioned that post with, “Okay I finally get why the European players complain about the American swing. Sorry not sorry this is breathtaking.”

Recently, Frances Tiafoe also enjoyed the scenic views around him from the balcony. Australia’s Alexei Popyrin recently defeated Tiafoe 6-3, 3-6, 3-6 in the Round of 32. Although this early exit might have hurt the American, he recently took full advantage of his off-time. On April 10, he shared a video clip from his hotel balcony, capturing the turquoise seas, and sunny weather along the Mediterranean coastline. Tiafoe highlighted his unplanned free time following his early exit from the tournament with the caption, “Getting the rest I’m owed.”
On the other hand, Ayan Broomfield has already left Monaco and is now getting things ready for Coachella, the iconic music and arts festival held every year in the California desert. As for Frances Tiafoe, he will play next at the Barcelona Open. Do you think Tiafoe can make a strong impact there?
