MLB offseason is the time when baseball players go off to spend time with their families or partake in other things to keep them busy. And the San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr is one such player who was spotted enjoying the off-season in a concert. It’s almost Christmas, and people are celebrating the holiday in their ways. So was the Padres’ shortstop. But Tatis Jr.’s enjoyment did not come without a cost.

Notably, Tatis Jr. was about to enter the 2022 season after recovering from an injury before he got tested for taking a banned substance. Henceforth, MLB banned him for 80 games. He is now supposed to make a comeback in the 2023 season but watching him enjoy the concert did not go well with the baseball fans.

The tainted shortstop was spotted dancing his heart out during the concert. Notably, someone recorded him dancing and put it on Social Media. Which then went viral.
And baseball fans started focusing on the part about how he should have been focusing on his health to make a heroic comeback rather than dancing at a concert.

While some people questioned his ability to dance, others think this is what he has been doing to keep himself busy ahead of making his MLB comeback. Some even did not forget to make fun of the motorcycle incident he had during the 2021-22 MLB lockout.
When is Tatis Jr supposed to make a comeback?
According to the reports, it is said that the shortstop can join his team in spring training. But he should not be anywhere near the team when the regular season begins. It is because before making his comeback, he will have to miss the first twenty games of the season. Also, with the Padres’ recent acquisition of shortstop Xander Bogaerts, it is still unclear what position Tatis Jr. would be playing once he finally makes his comeback.
