It’s no secret that opposing defenses are extremely focused on slow down Ja’Marr Chase. Chase already has 21 catches on 35 targets this season, to go along with a pair of touchdowns. So it goes without saying that Dolphins top cornerback Xavien Howard will be locked in on Chase throughout the game. Teams are willing to let other Bengals receivers succeed if it means slowing down the Burrow/Chase connection. Tee Higgins almost hauled in an amazing TD catch against the Jets, and I’ll take him to score anytime.
Pick 2: Tee Higgins Anytime TD
Both of these offenses have shown their ability to score points this season, but those mainly came in isolated incidents. Miami’s offensive explosion came against a weak Baltimore secondary while needing to come from behind late. The Bengals offense was in good form in Week 3, but that performance came against a very weak Jets team. Therefore, it makes sense to take the under on a total that seems a bit inflated. This Dolphins offense is still an unknown variable, but given we’ve taken the Bengals to cover, I think Cincinnati controls the game and eats the clock. Take the under.
