What happened with Paige Spiranac in the MLB game?
Due to her rising popularity, Spiranac was invited to the Milwaukee Brewers vs New York Yankees match to throw the first pitch. The 29-year-old later revealed that she was terrified of the moment, with rapper 50 Cent’s throw fresh on her mind.
However, when her moment finally arrived, Spiranac made a good pitch. While slightly over the top, her pitch didn’t get anyone complaining. However, her look on the field was surprisingly singled out, with netizens flooded with hate comments on her post.
Spiranac groans about social media harassment
Taking to her YouTube channel to speak about the game, Spiranac revealed the toll of abusive comments she received on her recent expedition. “In Milwaukee people were like, ‘she’s gained weight, this is what she looks like with no filters.’ It was insane. People were like, ‘you don’t look like yourself.’”
“And so I have just felt this immense pressure to look perfect, all the time. And that is humanly impossible,” she said.

The insulting comments took a toll on her mental health, as Spiranac claimed. “And that takes a toll on you. Honestly, the amount of men calling me ‘fat’ on this post is next level lol. I’ve had to delete so many comments which I almost never do,” she revealed.
