Raul Rosas jr. is an exciting prospect in the UFC. However, his first interaction with fans didn’t go as planned. As the newcomer made some bold claims about his reign in the UFC. The 18-year-old MMA fighter earned his UFC contract through Dana White’s Contender Series. Furthermore, Rosas displayed a great performance for a debutant against Jay Perrin and submitted him to get the victory. However, his over-enthusiastic speech sent the wrong idea to fans of the sport. Therefore, Rosas had to endure a barrage of negative comments. But Rosas has a chance to prove his haters wrong in April.

Fans couldn’t take the UFC newcomer seriously, who just scored his first bantamweight victory against Jay Perrin at UFC 282. However, more recently, Rosas made some hefty claims about himself securing three different championship belts At Fury FC 73:Fraire vs. Walker event.

Fans responded to the tweet and wrote “dog i cant take this guy serious”
Some fans thought they could never take Rosas seriously. Because of his bloated claims and ambitious nature.
Furthermore, many fans just disliked the fighter for his appearance. They also went on to claim he has the most punchable face in the entire promotion.

But, recently the UFC world saw Jamahal Hill claim a resounding victory against UFC Legend Glover Teixeira at UFC 283. To claim the UFC light heavyweight championship. The 31-year-old is also a graduate of Dana White’s Contender series, like Rosas.
So, maybe the bantamweight newcomer also has that championship spark in him. But, fans felt Rosas Jr. was a bit too loud, after a single victory in the UFC.

At Fury FC 73:Fraire vs. Walker Raul Rosas Jr. took over the mic and proudly announced, “I don’t care who I face, I’m here to show that there’s levels. Tune in April 8th, I’m going to show my skillset and show that I deserve to fight for a title.” as per MMA mania
He added “I’m just getting started, like this is nothing to me. I ain’t celebrating nothing until I have them three belts around my waist: 135, 145, 155, let’s go! Woo!”
Therefore, these statements sparked quite an intensity among MMA fans. Who were already pretty harsh on him, from the start. He faces Christian Rodriguez at UFC 287 on April 8, 2023.
