Ever since he elected to retire from NASCAR, Clint Bowyer has since taken up the role of commentator. During his tenure, he has linked up with a number of co-commentators. One of them is the 4-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and former rival, Jeff Gordon. On the racetrack, the duo were fierce rivals and battled with each other often. So when they were paired up in the booth, many fans expected fireworks but would have to get used to disappointment.
Bowyer mentioned in the Fox Sports preview, “All across the board, saw a lot of wild stories, and those are the most fun things to cover. The booth mate, it’s been fun. I came in with Jeff Gordon, chased his a** around the racetrack all these years.”

Now, the best news is that the 2023 NASCAR Cup season is finally here. This year, there is a lot to be excited about, with new tracks, old tracks, new drivers, drivers in new teams, and so much more. The first race of the season is at the Los Angeles Coliseum, which marks the unofficial start of the season. This is because the Clash at the Coliseum is a non-point-scoring race, so it is just a matter of personal pride to win this race.
