The Clash at the Coliseum marked the beginning of the much-awaited NASCAR season. Fans certainly had a lot to cheer about with drama and action both on and off the tracks. Among it all, a revelation by superstar Gwen Stefani about Clint Bowyer managed to generate a lot of buzz.
One of the clips shared by @NASCARONFOX on Twitter had the community in splits. The video features Mike Joy, Tony Stewart, Gwen Stefani, and Clint Bowyer having a chat in the NASCAR booth at The Clash.
Stefani shared a hilarious anecdote in response to Joy’s observation about her being the lone singer among the four. She said, “Oh really? No no, I have heard Clint do ‘Don’t speak’ at a campfire. The first time I met him he was like wasted, right?” While she meant to highlight Bowyer’s singing, it looks like everyone was more interested in him being wasted that night. Sensing Bowyer’s embarrassment, Stefani said, “I’m just saying like it was a compliment for me to know you actually listen to my music.”

Looks like this revelation was one of the reasons that at The Super Bowl this year, Bowyer’s pictures on social media attracted some mixed reactions from fans.
