UFC star Conor McGregor touched down in Las Vegas at UFC Apex Facility as the shooting of the upcoming 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter commenced on Friday. Earlier, UFC president Dana White‘s recent announcement about the Irishman’s comeback sent the MMA community into a frenzy. Notably, the former two-division UFC champion will engage in a contest against Michael Chandler to make the dream of a UFC fighter come true. The ‘Notorious’ will endeavor to add another laurel to his remarkable resume, which he missed 8 years back. While the fans wait eagerly for his return; however, his long injury layoff has also put some doubts in the followers.
The ‘Mystic Mac’ will perform the coach’s duties, as he will lead a team of men’s bantamweights and lightweights. Arriving at the UFC’s facility, the Dublin-born faced the wall that housed the framed jersey of the previous TUF coaches. While he also coached the 22nd season of the same, he failed in his attempt as his foe, Urijah Faber, triumphed in that edition. Akin to a boxer’s routine, the 34-year-old then indulged in a brief shadow boxing regime and threw a combination at the UFC legend’s jersey. However, a fan found the Irish fighter lacking.

An account shared the shadow boxing clip and also announced the status of the filming of the TUF season. In the comments, a fan pointed out that something was off about the way the SBG Ireland product threw his punches.

Thus, they wrote, “there something just dont feel right”.
However, this comment didn’t escape the eyes of the 22-6 record holder who had previously retweeted the clip. Hence, verifying the current status of the TUF proceedings. Besides, he hit back with a cheeky remark.
Hence, he stated, “It’s like it’s too good to be true hahaha”

Conor McGregor last graced the Octagon in July 2021 in a trilogy bout against Dustin ‘Diamond’ Poirier. Unfortunately, he suffered a horrendous injury during the fight and a doctor’s stoppage curtailed his attempt to return to the win column. Markedly, he is currently on a two-loss streak.
