BIG RAPIDS – For the first time in his collegiate career, Ferris State University men’s tennis freshman Erik Kovacs (Toronto) has been tabbed as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Men’s Tennis Player of the Week.
Kovacs led the Bulldogs to a pair of decisive regional wins this past weekend as FSU improved to 4-1 overall this campaign. He went a perfect 4-0 on the weekend as Ferris State topped Hillsdale 7-0 on the road before a 6-1 home triumph against Findlay.
