The recently concluded NBA All-Star game was a star-studded affair, with a number of celebrities going to watch the game. One such icon was none other than St. Louis Cardinals’ legend Albert Pujols. The former first baseman was present at the game and seemed to have had a good time.
He and his children interacted with a number of other celebrities and superstars at the event. Furthermore, he even took pictures with NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum. Most recently, Pujols shared a special message for the Boston Celtics star in response to a Tweet Tatum posted.

The NBA All-Star game went well with Jayson Tatum taking home the All-Star game MVP award. Following the game, Tatum retweeted a picture that Albert Pujols had shared of the two together. The Celtics star stated that he was happy to get a picture with one of his icons. Most recently, Pujols has responded to this Tweet and shared a special message for Tatum. He said that he enjoyed watching the Celtics star play and told him to keep working hard.
In the Tweet, Pujols said, “Enjoyed watching you play last night, brother. Keep working hard! #314 #nbaallstar”. He mentioned the number 314 in the Tweet, the area code for St. Louis. It has a special connection for both of these sporting stars. Pujols played some of his best years with the St. Louis Cardinals. Tatum, on the other hand, spent some of his teenage years growing up in St. Louis.

Pujols and his kids also met other celebrities and took pictures with them. But the former MLB legend’s interaction with Tatum seems to have left a mark on the Celtics star. What’s more, the NBA All-Star even had a fantastic performance to end the night.

In the 2023 NBA All-Star game, Jayson Tatum dropped 55 points, helping Team Giannis win the game over Team LeBron 184-175. Furthermore, he broke the All-Star game record for points in a single game. This made for a special night as Tatum played some exceptional basketball.
