The MMA community is still talking about Colby Covington‘s death threat to UFC commentator Jon Anik. Many people have weighed in on this issue as the UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping also discussed the Anik-Covington situation in a recent episode of his podcast, ‘Believe You Me’. However, he seemed very confident in his stand on this banter and believes that he knows Colby as a person.
‘Chaos’ sent a death threat to Jon Anik in a despicable X-rated rant that stemmed from the commentator preferring to see an undefeated Belal Muhammad get a title shot instead of him. It did not sit well with the former UFC interim champion. However, Michael Bisping believes that Colby Covington was not being serious.

The UFC Hall of Famer mentions that Jon Anik is like a brother to him, but believes that Covington was just being his typical self by talking trash. Bisping doesn’t think he will lay a hand on the commentator. Bisping said, “Colby’s just being Colby. He’s being a character, doing his thing… talking crap.”
‘The Count’ reiterated a story of meeting ‘Chaos’ at the London airport after UFC 286 and claimed that he appeared to be a gentleman. Bisping added, “I bumped into Colby at the airport Sunday morning after UFC London last week. I am at the airport like a zombie… been up all night and was so tired. [I] go through security, someone jumps on my back. I jump out of my skin [and] absolutely terrified.” He added, “I shit my pants [and] look around and it’s Colby Covington. The nicest encounter ever. Pure class, great manners, pure gentleman, and him and his friends were so-so nice.” Bisping ends by saying that he doesn’t believe that the former interim champion will murder anybody.
‘The Count’ claims people want to see the Covington vs Edwards fight

But he wants ‘Rocky’ to see the amount of money he can make from this fight. ‘The Count’ said that he may not be stripped of his title for his comments of not wanting to fight Covington. But he believes it is a bigger fight in terms of money.
