This year, the week after the Masters will be a little different than other years. It used to be a relaxing time for the players, but another designated event awaits them this time. The RBC Heritage will have more pressure and a significantly stronger field on the grounds of Hilton Head. However, Harbour Town Golf Links is among the shortest courses. It has narrow greens and erratic breezes proving as a challenging test for golfers. Currently holding the 2022 title is Jordan Spieth. Who will win this year? Who is playing and how much money will the golfers take home?
2023 RBC Heritage prize money and breakdown
The iconic 2023 Masters at Augusta National has ended, but another prestigious event begins right after on the PGA Tour. This is due to the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town serving as the sixth official tournament of the PGA Tour season. According to reports, there will be a stronger field than normal in South Carolina this week. That is because the best players are required to compete in the majority of the approved events to maintain their points.

Who will be competing in the field of the PGA Tour event?
It was a challenging week at Augusta National. However, golfers are set to return to action for the RBC Heritage. Among the skilled golfers, there will be a 2023 Masters winner, Jon Rahm, who is currently the number one golfer. This year, he will be the favorite of the fans at the PGA Tour event, given his stellar performance at the storied event. Not to mention, the top 42 players of the top 50 in the OWGR will be part of the 146-player field this year at Hilton Head. However, some notable players will not be seen on the field. Will Zalatoris had back surgery leading him to stay away from the PGA Tour. And former number one golfer, Rory McIlroy has also withdrawn from the event. Jason Day and Hideki Matsuyama will also be unavailable.
