There are a few things that immediately come to mind of most NASCAR fans when the name Kyle Busch is mentioned. One of the most talented racecar drivers in American motorsports history. One of the most accomplished drivers in NASCAR history.
But there’s one other thing which is a given with Busch and that is his eccentric sense of humor and his rather straightforward, often blunt responses.
And if you didn’t believe any of the three aforementioned points about the Richard Childress Racing driver, well, he put it all on display on Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway.

Kyle Busch seemingly takes a subtle jibe at Kyle Larson after his Talladega win
After a brave gamble to not pit and with a little help from luck, Busch emerged victorious from the second overtime at the checkered flag at Talladega. This was his second win at the superspeedway and the 62nd of his career.
There goes the first two points about talent and accomplishments.
Then there’s his sense of humor and his blunt responses. For that, look no further than the response he gave after the race which may or may not be a jibe at Kyle Larson of all people.
During the press conference after his second win of the season, a reporter mentioned to Busch the notion that the racing from the Next Gen car seemingly “preaches patience than the aggressive style.”
The reporter continued, “Do you think this suits you more with the more mature Kyle Busch?”
“What number Kyle are we talking about,” came the response from Busch.

Busch acknowledges the luck factor in his recent win
With their gamble paying off of not pitting in the very closing moments of the race, Kyle Busch also opened up about what went through his mind as he decided to take that decision.
“We were sweating it being close. I thought back to California, Fontana, earlier this year where we have a win. I am like, ‘We got to gamble.’ You’re up here, got to take the track position when you have it, give it what you can on the restarts, see what happens,” he said as per Motorsport.

“Lo and behold, it worked out. Knock on wood for this one.”

With that said, do you think Busch is on his way to claim his third Cup title this season? Or could someone else, perhaps the other Kyle stop the hilarious Kyle from doing so?
