The Greek tennis player got overwhelmed with emotions during the ongoing Madrid Open as he opened up about his vulnerable side. Despite being a resounding figure on the court, Stefanos Tsitsipas didn’t shy away from embracing his weaknesses.
He said, “Many people want to show strength and how powerful they are, but few are more tolerant towards accepting and showing weakness. for me it’s not a shame to show that side, everyone is different and cannot be treated the same way.”
Tsitsipas’ former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou also came across those emotional remarks on Twitter. The legendary French tennis coach was all praise for the tennis player’s blunt revelation about his personality. Mouratoglou tweeted, “One of the many reasons why I love this man @steftsitsipas”
Tsitsipas has also been sighted breaking down in public, particularly at his press conference appearances.

This is not the first time when the French tennis coach witnessed the former world No. 1 player getting overwhelmed with emotions. A few seasons back, Mouratoglou acknowledged how the Greek tennis star often breaks down during his press conferences after getting knocked out of tournaments.
The 52-year-old tennis coach stated that Tsitsipas has a different personality than other players as he is extremely open with his emotions. Mouratoglou expressed his admiration for the ATP player for openly expressing his feelings and passion for the game while being unbothered by the opinions of others.
