The NBA’s all-time great Michael Jordan has tasted success in different fields. Widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time, Jordan’s long list of achievements exceeds the limits of a basketball court. He owns several businesses, including an NBA team, a NASCAR team, and his mammoth collaboration with Nike, Air Jordan sneakers. His Airness also owns a tequila brand; as per Jordan, one cannot consume it like any other tequila.
A brilliant businessman, Jordan knows how to best represent his brand. This could be a reason why even someone as famous as Pitbull was stopped from taking a shot of his Cincoro tequila. Jordan’s NASCAR rival also revealed how the Chicago Bulls legend got him “f**ked up.”

The Grammy Award-winning rapper was recently on the Howard Stern Show. The two discussed Pitbull’s NASCAR team, his interactions, and his rivalry with the Great Michael Jordan. Pitbull said that he draws parallels between his life and NASCAR. He said that his life has been flipping negatives into positives.
Pitbull sees NASCAR the same way as it started with nothing and had no respect. The sport has now become one of the most popular exhibitions in the US. Pitbull owns Trackhouse Racing in the NASCAR Cup series. He added that he loves the “underdog fighting spirit” of NASCAR and that is what drew him into it.

Notably, Jordan also owns a team in the auto racing series. Jordan owns the 23XI team with his friend Denny Hamlin. Stern asked Pitbull if he parties with Jordan since the two are team owners for the same event. Pitbull said, “I don’t party with Jordan but I’ve seen him at the races.” Pitbull then revealed why Jordan didn’t allow him to take a shot of his tequila.
He said that he was in Miami with Jordan and when he went to take a shot of Cincoro, Jordan stopped him. He recalled Jordan telling him “Nah you don’t take a shot of that. You sip that.” Although the demand was unusual from Jordan, Pitbull took a sip as advised. He added, “I did sip it and I got fu**** up.”
Pitbull said that Michael Jordan knows what he does while giving him a shout-out from the show.

Michael Jordan has been a NASCAR fan since childhood
The basketball Hall of Famer has shown interest in different sports over the years. Currently an avid golfer, Jordan also has a deep interest in racing and baseball. When it was announced that Jordan, along with his friend Hamlin are going to own a NASCAR team, the 6x NBA champion revealed his childhood stories related to NASCAR.

He said, “Growing up in North Carolina, my parents would take my brothers, sisters, and me to the races, and I’ve been a NASCAR fan my whole life.” So, when an opportunity presented itself, Jordan pounced on it to become only the second Black owner in NASCAR.
