WHO HAS THE SAFEST STADIUM IN THE US?
Have you ever had an altercation when attending a Minnesota Vikings game at US Bank Stadium? Have you ever seen someone else lose control at a game, or outside the stadium and it made you feel uncomfortable?
In the latest NFL Stadium Safety Report, they took a look at the crime rate at each state’s stadiums and polled approximately 3,000 football fans about their experiences at their stadium.

SAFEST NFL STADIUMS FOR CRIME
Gillette Stadium, home to the New England Patriots, is listed as the safest stadium in the NFL. The crime rate is just 9.36 total crimes per 1,000 residents living within the stadium’s zip code.
The top 5 safest stadiums include:
1. Gillette Stadium – Home of the New England Patriots
2. Highmark Stadium – Home of the Buffalo Bills
3. MetLife Stadium – Home of the New York Giants and The New York Jets
4. Lambeau Field – Home of the Green Bay Packers
5. Raymond James Stadium – Home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
NFL STADIUMS WITH WORST CRIME
Minnesotans may be shocked to learn that US Bank Stadium does NOT have an excellent reputation for crime.
The NFL stadiums that off the worst local crime include:
1. Empower Field – Home of the Denver Broncos
2. US Banks Stadium – Home of the Minnesota Vikings
3. Ford Field – Home of the Detroit Lions
4. Lumen Field – Home of the Seattle Seahawks
5. EverBank Stadium – Home of the Jacksonville Jaguars
OTHER FINDINGS
Overall, 43% of NFL fans say they have experienced a physical or verbal altercation while at a game; and although Gillette Stadium was listed as the stadium with the lowest crime rate, 59.6% of respondents said that Gillette Stadium was where they felt the LEAST safe, compared to other stadiums across the country.
The 3,000 football fans that were surveyed broke down as follows:
65% were men
33% were women
2% were non-binary
