The 2024 Fantasy football rankings for QB,, RB, WR and TE were given a massive shakeup during the NFL Draft, particularly at two of those positions. While just one tight end and no running backs were selected in the first round, teams didn’t hesitate to go after quarterbacks and receivers. A record-tying seven wideouts were first-round picks, while the six quarterbacks taken on day one also tied an NFL Draft record. With the first-year impacts of players like C.J. Stroud, Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase, it’s not unreasonable to consider one of this year’s 2024 Fantasy football rookies for your top 2024 Fantasy football QB picks or 2024 Fantasy football WR picks.
Who are the top rookies to target with your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy, no matter which round they were taken in the NFL Draft? Proven 2024 Fantasy football rankings can help you determine where to draft every player. Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle’s 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He’d go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he’d finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it’s called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.
The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you’re always getting the best Fantasy football advice and the latest Fantasy football tiers.

Top 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football QB picks:
1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen is coming off of back-to-back seasons as QB1, averaging 23.1 Fantasy points per game. He capped off his 2023 campaign with 4,306 passing yards and 29 touchdowns and added a career-high 15 rushing TDs. There are some question marks surrounding the Bills offense since Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis are no longer with the team, but Allen is still expected to have a stellar fantasy season.
2. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts saw a slight dip in production last season due to the Eagles overall offensive woes, but he remains a top fantasy get heading into the 2024 season. Hurts’ stock stays high since he is so effective on the ground, as he totaled 15 rushing touchdowns of his own in 2023.
3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Jackson has been a top-3 fantasy quarterback twice over his career including last season, and both of those times resulted in him getting MVP honors. In 2023, Jackson completed 67.2% of his passes for 3,678 yards and added 821 yards on the ground. His rushing abilities continue to make him one of the top picks for Fantasy football rosters. Top 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football RB picks:
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: If you take away McCaffrey’s two injury-ravaged seasons with Carolina, here is where he ranked in positional Fantasy points over the last four seasons: first, first, second, third. He’s coming off his first rushing title, averaged a career-high of 5.4 yards per carry and had a career-high of seven receiving TDs. It’s McCaffrey and then everyone else when it comes to Fantasy running backs.
2. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: After years of stacked boxes while in New York due to the lack of a serviceable passing game, Barkley now gets to play in a balanced offense. That should open up rushing lanes for him as should playing with Jalen Hurts. The QB’s ability in the read option means defenses will never be able to zero in on Barkley as his upgrade in environment should lead to an increase in production.
3. Breece Hall, New York Jets: From Week 5 to Week 18 last year, only McCaffrey produced more Fantasy points at the RB position than Hall. His season-long numbers of 1,585 scrimmage yards and nine TDs came despite New York having the No. 30 passing offense. Aaron Rodgers will help take pressure off Hall, who won’t have to cede touches to Dalvin Cook like he had to at the start of last year. See more top RBs here.
Top 2024 Fantasy football WR rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football WR picks:
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: Lamb was just the WR22 through the first five weeks of last season before scoring 55.9 more Fantasy points than any other wideout from Weeks 6-18. Dallas unlocked the best of Lamb over that stretch, and now it can apply that strategy over an entire 18-week season, giving Lamb an even higher Fantasy ceiling than what he displayed last year in which he finished as the WR1.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Second, seventh, third and second — those are Hill’s positional rankings in terms of Fantasy points over the last four years. He’s as consistent as they come and is the only player in NFL history with multiple seasons of 1,700-plus receiving yards, which he’s done in each of the last two years.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: Despite Detroit adding playmakers like Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta last year, St. Brown posted career-highs across the board with 119 catches, 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also has as high a Fantasy floor as one could have at that position as last year, St. Brown posted at least 89 yards or scored a touchdown in 18 of 19 regular plus postseason games. See more top WRs here.
Top 2024 Fantasy football TE rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football TE picks:
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Despite snapping a run of seven straight seasons with 1,000 or more receiving yards in 2023, Kelce was still among the most productive Fantasy tight ends in the league. The 34-year-old caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns last season, which was a step back for him, but still enough for him to be a top-three tight end when it was all said and done. Kelce led all tight ends on a points-per-game basis last season and has finished as the No. 1 overall tight end in six of the last eight seasons.
2. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: LaPorta had a sensational rookie season in Detroit, catching 86 passes for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns. Now entering his second season with the Lions, LaPorta should continue to benefit from the explosive playmakers featured in Detroit’s offense. With Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs attracting plenty of attention from opposing defenses, LaPorta is in line to have another successful season in 2024.
3. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews was on pace to have one of the best years of his career in 2023 before an ankle injury ended his season prematurely. In 10 games, the former Oklahoma standout caught 45 passes for 544 yards and six touchdowns. Andrews is set to enter the 2024 season completely healthy and will be looking to reclaim his status as the No. 1 target for reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. See more top TEs here.
