The Warriors even won Game 3 without Draymond Green as he served his suspension after stepping on Domantas Sabonis’ chest during Game 2. Now, Game 5 of the series has these two teams fighting neck to neck, blow after blow.
With under two minutes left to play in the second quarter of the game, Stephen Curry ended up on the floor after a hard collision with Malik Monk. As the Warriors teammates put up a double screen for Klay Thompson to get an open shot, Monk may have gotten a tad too enthusiastic to close out on him.
As both Curry and Draymond Green firmly took their positions for a double screen for Thompson, the defending Monk crashed into Curry as he chased after Warriors no. 11 in order to close out on him.
Fans trolled The Chef regardless

While another fan commented, “Steph could stub his toe and the national media would say “steph overcoming a critical injury to carry his team to the win. He’s him.”
