UFC middleweight fighter Sean ‘Tarzan’ Strickland is famous for his brash personality and bold statements. Strickland recently caught the attention of many when he tweeted about the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Moreover, not too long ago he got involved in a war of words with controversial Dale Brown. However, it was his most recent tweet with the BKFC which has garnered all the attention.
Fresh off a unanimous decision victory over Nassourdine Imavov, Strickland proved he is a force to be reckoned with in the octagon. The fight was intense and exciting to watch, with both fighters giving it their all. However, the middleweight contender dominated the later rounds and ultimately secured the victory.
It’s worth noting that Strickland was a last-minute replacement for Imavov’s original opponent. Despite this, he still managed to come out on top. It’s uncertain who Strickland will face in his next fight, but one thing is for sure: he will make headlines.

Sean Strickland sparks controversy with bold claims and veiled threats
Middleweight fighter Sean Strickland has made headlines recently for his comments about fellow fighter Diego Sanchez’s bare-knuckle boxing debut. In a heated social media exchange with BKFC, Strickland voiced his opinion that the organization only signs old fighters. This sparked quite a reaction on social media, with fans jumping in to defend both sides of the argument. One fan even advised the UFC star not to burn bridges with BKFC, as he may end up there himself one day.
The 31-year-old retorted in his trademark style.
BKFC was not one to stay quiet, they quickly hit back with their own response. A fan was asking them why they were ‘clowning’ Strickland for losing against Alex Pereira. They reply by writing, ““Clowning” never, Sean is a fighter, warrior and have all respect in the world for him and his career. Going back and forth on Twitter with him is all love.”
However, it seems that Strickland isn’t too keen on the idea of joining BKFC anytime soon. In addition to his criticism of the organization’s signing practices, he also threw some shade at BKFC for bringing on Paige Vanzant. Strickland doesn’t believe that BKFC can afford him.
