After fading the Dolphins last Thursday in their primetime matchup against the Bengals, I am now backing them this Sunday against the Jets.
With Tua confirmed out with a head injury, backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will get the nod under center. He kept them within a puncher’s chance against the Bengals’ last game out until the defense could not limit Cincy’s pass attack any longer.
With the change at quarterback and the Jets beating the lowly Steelers, this line has moved too far down for me not to pull the trigger on the Dolphins at the current number.

Even with Zach Wilson being back, I am firmly backing Miami. I had him graded just about the same, if not a little worse, than his backup Joe Flacco. He benefited from a generous first game back with the Steelers plummeting hard with an injury-riddled defense and a horrific offensive line.
Teddy Bridgewater is a more than capable backup quarterback to lead this team to win. He is one of the best at what matters most to us, which is covering the spread. Bridgewater currently has a career ATS record of 33-11, covering 75% of the time.
With Teddy “Covers” under center and getting the key football number of -3, I will be buying low on the Dolphins in a bounce-back against the Jets.
