Noah Lyles stepped in the Olympic year in the same flaming form where he stopped last year. In 2023, he claimed three gold medals in Budapest, including in the individual and team relay events. This year, the 26-year-old American earned the 60m gold medal, making the world leading time. After that scorching performance, Noah Lyles claimed something big in the press conference. He said, “Last year I went out there and won three gold medals. This year I want to get four. And if I don’t get four, I am going after three world records.” That directed to the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m events of the Paris Olympics.

This time, Hayward Field in Eugene will host the auspicious team trials for the 2024 US Olympic track and field selection. The organizers scheduled the gilded affair for June 21-30. Meanwhile, the host decided to sell the first wave of tickets on February 20. On that estimate, TrackTown USA’s X-handle gave away the news in its post on February 7. It added, “All-session tickets for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials – Track & Field go on sale Tuesday, February 20 at 9 am PT”. Moreover, for the next 8 days, the selling will continue.
In a further release, several more insights surfaced. As per the host, the all-session tickets will cost $395 at the minimum level. On that line, each customer can purchase up to 8 tickets in a single transaction. However, apart from online selling, audiences will get options to buy the tickets offline as well. But for that, they will have to resort to the University of Oregon’s ticket-selling center. However, among all these discussions, the hosts are expecting a larger traffic to buy the tickets. The reason is Noah Lyles’s 2022- performance in the same venue.

The prized fight between Noah Lyles and a prodigy is waiting
Last time when Noah Lyles came down in Hayward Field, he left the stage with his best timing in the 200m event. It was one of the very first moments of his battle with Erriyon Knighton. On that day, the 20-year-old sprinter stopped a fraction short to touch the finishing ribbon. But after that, he nurtured a special rivalry with Noah Lyles in the 200m event. Even his timing fell better than Usain Bolt’s in the 200m event when the Jamaican was in Knighton’s age.

In the 100m event, Fred Kerley will again hound Noah as the former one is eyeing an Olympic record as well. So if Noah has to carve out his name by evading Usain Bolt, he will have to overcome these luminaries as well. As of now, the audiences will have a few weeks more to know more about that.
