Before Dale Earnhardt Jr. became a media mogul surrounding the world of NASCAR, he used to be a driver. So when, after his retirement, he launched his own podcast; he faced a few challenges unique to him. Now, as per recent reports, Junior’s former competitor on the track, Denny Hamlin revealed that he would be starting his very own podcast. Hence, Junior thought that Hamlin too would face those same challenges as he did when he started out.
Earnhardt Jr. said, “I always felt like when I got into broadcasting. I was like, man, I gotta call these guys out. That’s uncomfortable man. That’s awkward. If I think a guy made a mistake, you know, and if that’s my buddy. I gotta go hey, I just don’t agree with what you just did or that was dumb that move why didn’t you do this? Denny’s gonna have to experience that and so to be fun. I’m just gonna be entertained just watching him kinda navigate that a little bit. I don’t know what he’s gonna share with us.”

Junior told the press that he is “one of the more polarizing individuals” in NASCAR at the moment. Moreover, he further added that everyone knew Hamlin to be “candid, opinionated, and entertaining as a driver.” However, he also pointed out that Hamlin really had pretty good “insights” regarding the sport and the business aspect of things. The business aspect mostly comes from the fact that Hamlin co-owns 23XI racing along with NBA legend Michael Jordan.
