It is a blessing to be born into a family of motorsport greats. No one would know it better than Jeffrey Earnhardt, the nephew of Dale Earnhardt Jr. That being said, the pressure is always there on Jeffrey, especially given the rich legacy of his grandfather Dale Earnhardt Sr. Unfortunately, Jeffrey didn’t have the best of time at “Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner 300. Daytona.”
The 33-year-old is a full-time driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In the 200-mile Daytona event, Jeffrey was involved in an incident with Parker Kligerman. This left the Alpha Prime Racing driver fuming after the race. Jeffrey was found confronting Parker post-race, with many wondering what had transpired during the race.

The incident happened when both Jeffrey Earnhardt and Parker Kligerman were side-by-side with one another. The latter then tried to veer into Jeffrey’s lane and in the process ended up making contact with his car.

This damage resulted in a tire cut for Dale Jr’s nephew, forcing him to pit. As a result, Jeffrey lost any chance that he had to register a win in the opening race of the new season. After the race, he had some strong words for Parker. He said, “He’s got a great opportunity, but if he’s going to drive like that, he’s got a long season ahead of him. Because he won’t get no more breaks from me.
That’s for damn sure. He’s in the infill care center right now because I didn’t realize that last wreck but hopefully he doesn’t end up back in there when I get done with him.”
Dale Jr reacted to the incident on social media and announced Jeffrey as his next guest on his podcast The Dale Jr Download.
In wake of this announcement, fans brought in some interesting reactions.
This perfectly sets up for the podcast episode on Tuesday where Dale Jr will talk about the incident in detail with nephew Jeffrey.
Kligerman takes responsibility for the incident
Jeffrey Earnhardt confronted Parker Kligerman after the race ended. The latter was found trying his best to justify his move. In his terms, he was “clear” to make the move but there was no way Jeffrey was buying it.

Earlier in the night, he was also guilty of tagging Sheldon Creed’s rear end. This saw the no. 2 Richard Childress Racing car go out of shape.

Kligerman did admit in the end to being sloppy with his approach. This does not end the spat between him and Jeffrey. It only gets more exciting to see what more the Alpha Prime Racing driver has to say on Tuesday.
