During a recent interview, Masvidal talked about it and stated, “It’s like all the stars are aligning, and the universe is giving me this. It wants me to go through this. You’ll see the battle that I will give to my people.” But some fans couldn’t follow up with Masvidal’s vision and were skeptical of his ability to bounce back.

In the same interview. ‘Gamebred’ said, “There’s a lot of factors that need to take place – but that’s the plan,” He added, “All the stars need to align again. I’d go to the U.K. again because I’d like to give him a beating in his own backyard. I’m going to take his head off, and that’s it. That’s what I envision every day.”

However, the Miami native sees no problem in being optimistic and having faith in his abilities, even in the face of adversity. The 38-year-old said, “Why not have faith in something? I have a lot of faith. I have a lot of knowledge on Gilbert and Leon. If you ask me, I beat both.”

He is not one to shy away from a challenge, and he is willing to take on all comers to achieve his goal of becoming the UFC welterweight champion.
