Hamlin explained the entire incident about how he got furious with the Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron but later apologized to him. “At the end of the race, I got taken out like again by Byron and I was p*ssed. I was spun around sideways on the track and I am giving him the finger. You know, and he’s not really doing anything or retaliating.”

Denny Hamlin on Harvick and Gragson
Three-time Daytona 500 winner added a few words for Kevin Harvick and Noah Gragson. After analyzing the situation and going through the replay, Hamlin thinks it was Gragson that led to the wreck. He said, “And I watched that. Harvick, I think, is mad at the wrong guy. I think Noah plowed the #24 (Byron’s car), cause you can see alright when you watch the replays right and it shows them the bumper can. When you see the bump and then it jars the camera and another stronger bump, they are getting hit from behind.”
