Future NBA Hall of Famer-turned-Taiwanese basketball superstar Dwight Howard no longer wants to speak English.
In a recent video shared on Tik Tok, Howard recorded a commercial in Taiwan with cheerleaders surrounding him as he promoted a product.
He wrote over the video — in which he is all smiles — “I don’t want to speak English.”

“Dont speak english to me if its about any negativity, hate, or slander 🤔 my Tiktok is a space for positivity, inspiration, laughs and smiles 🤷🏾‍♂️,” Howard captioned the video on his TikTok account.
Howard has been a major star in Taiwan since he signed after he sat out all of the 2021 season, waiting for an NBA team to sign him.
When it became clear that there was no interest from NBA teams, the 36-year-old decided to sign the largest contract in Taiwanese basketball history at $1 million with the Taoyuan Leopards.
Howard got off to a wild start in Taiwan with 38 points, 25 rebounds, nine assists, and nine blocks in his debut in Asia.
The Leopards had an abysmal season, going 6-24, though one of those wins — a 120-108 decision over the TaiwanBeer HeroBears — featured a massive brawl that saw Howard as one of 12 players ejected.
The 37-year-old later complained that he was attempting to play peacemaker among the punch-throwing parties.
Howard averaged 23.2 points, 16.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists during the regular season and looked to be practicing his vocals during the offseason.
Perhaps he is preparing for an appearance in Hollywood after his playing days end.
