Former Vice President Mike Pence is refusing to say if he would vote for his old boss in 2024.
The ex-veep dodged a question about former President Donald Trump’s looming comeback bid, suggesting he might make his own run for the White House.

“Well, there might be somebody else I prefer more,” Pence said late Wednesday, flashing a smile.
Pence, who had to run for his life from a mob of Trump’s enraged supporters on Jan. 6, cryptically said he believes the GOP will soon clarify its future path.

“I have every confidence that the Republican Party is going to sort out leadership,” Pence told an audience at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., without elaborating or mentioning Trump by name.
The onetime loyal lieutenant of Trump insisted he is focused on helping Republicans win the general election on Nov. 8.
“All my focus has been on the midterm elections, and it’ll stay that way for the next 20 days,” Pence said. “But after that, we’ll be thinking about the future, ours and the nation’s.”
“I’ll keep you posted,” he added.
