Since then, there has been an outpouring of well-wishes, hoping for his speedy recovery. Now, there is great news for the sporting community, as it appears that Damar Hamlin is on the mend. In light of this, NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin (not related to Damar), was thrilled about the news.

Recently, the Bills issued a statement revealing that Damar was recovering well. Although he was still in pretty bad shape, he was neurologically sound and his lungs were healing. Safe to say, the team was grateful for the support, and Denny proudly declared that everyone’s prayers were working.

Even Stewart-Haas Racing crew chief for Kevin Harvick, Rodney Childers, tweeted about Damar Hamlin. The best part is that the latest update says that the Bills safety is communicating with everyone.

Although many fans appreciated prayers and faith, they wanted science and technology to be credited for its role. After all, it is only thanks to the medical staff and emergency responders that Damar Hamlin is on the mend. When Denny Hamlin pointed to ‘prayers’ as one of the reasons behind Hamar’s recovery, people wanted him to acknowledge the paramedics’ hard work and diligence.

For now, everyone is just waiting with bated breath for more good news about Damar Hamlin. As far as the latest news goes, he is well on the road to recovery and will be back on his feet soon. However, whether the 24-year-old will be playing football for the Buffalo Bills is a different story, and a question his doctors can’t answer for now.
