However, the only thing that never changed was the quarterback’s furiousness and competitive attitude that kept him atop everyone throughout his career. Recently, the Bills linebacker hosted ‘The Von Cast’ along with Mike Evans from Tampa Bay, discussing a wide range of issues.
According to him, the process of aging is a state of mind. One who gives up early just because he got old physically, life is simply pity for them. “I think the key is, once you start saying I’m old and once like the everyday grind of football and things you do. Once you start telling yourself like man, I’m getting tired of this, I’m getting old. I think that’s when you really become old,” Miller said on the show.
He mentioned that even if physical aging continues to happen, which is involuntary, the body listens to the mind and acts accordingly. He gave the example of Tom Brady and his mindset playing at this age without worrying about anything else in his life.
“Once your mindset becomes Old, like, it’s just downhill from there. I mean you see Tom Brady do it man like you see you see him doing all the time. He’s not old mentally bro,” Miller explained with several other examples in daily life.

Regardless, his assessment seems fair to a much larger extent. Even though Brady takes regular hits and roughness on the field, it doesn’t affect his skillset. It’s because, from within, he is behaving like a rookie ready to unleash his fullest potential.
