After a two-year injury layoff, Conor McGregor is finally ready to grace the octagon again. The former two-division champion suffered a horrific leg break during his last outing at UFC 264 in July 2021. The Irishman has been on the sideline ever since. Now, just a few days after SBG Ireland’s head coach, John Kavanagh, ensured the likelihood of McGregor fighting in 2023, ‘The Notorious’ one himself has released some promising news.
In a recent Instagram post, Conor McGregor revealed he might once more take on a challenge he faced on the road to his title fight against Jose Aldo.

After beating Chad Mendes for the interim featherweight title at UFC 189 in July 2015, McGregor coached against Urijah Faber on The Ultimate Fighter 22. Now, the Irishman has hinted at the possibility of doing another season of TUF prior to his UFC return.

According to McGregor, he has been offered to coach on TUF again. In his latest IG post, the Irishman shared a famous snap from his last outing on the show. In a lengthy caption, McGregor reminisced about the story behind the photo and his time on TUF.

The 34-year-old said that the photo was from the TUF house, taken prior to the Mendes fight. He mentioned returning to the show to coach against Mends’ teammate Urijah Faber. ‘Mystic Mac’ remembered showing up with injuries from the Mendes fight and coaching his fighters to numerous victories.
Speaking of taking up the role again, he said, “I have just been offered to coach this role again. I like it. It is full immersion which is needed.” He further added, “I see fighters lining up. I know whats ahead I been ready motherf***ers.”
