Shockingly, Rogan also has another passion that is strikingly different from his other ventures. Before being a commentator for UFC or a podcast host, Joe Rogan was a standup comedian.
The 55 years old podcaster has been a comedian since 1988. He performed his first gig in Boston at the age of 21. Ever since then, Rogan has never abandoned this passion. Recently, a video from the 1990s of Rogan doing comedy has resurfaced on the internet, reminding the world of his comedic roots.
Decades-old clip of Joe Rogan goes viral

YouTube is an interesting platform for viewers. A random age-old video can pop up from any channel and go viral within days. This is exactly what happened here. A YouTube channel called PeakSet uploaded the age-old clip of Rogan cracking a joke in front of the audience, and the video went viral, gaining more than 1.8 million views and more than 3,000 comments.
In the video, Joe Rogan makes a joke about marriage. The joke revolves around his girlfriend talking about marriage a bit too much.
“I have been hearing the M word too much from my girlfriend. She brings up marriage a little bit too much,” Rogan says in the clip.
Rogan, on the other hand, according to the joke’s narrative, does not like the idea of marriage. “I can’t even hear the word. I hear the word marriage and my brain shuts off. Its like…(proceeds to blabber). I’m like that’s like a contract. If I sign this, I can’t have s*x with other girls for the rest of my life. And I gotta buy you a ring. That deal sucks.”
