LeBron James Made an Honest Revelation on Lakers Future to Shaquille O’Neal After Dethroning Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

There is no soul alive who talks about NBA and does not take LeBron James’ name. LeBron James is one of the greatest players that the basketball world, particularly the NBA, has ever seen. In NBA he has achieved almost everything, broken various records, set benchmarks, and whatnot. But the 38-year-old legend is still far from finished. While Los Angeles Lakers had to face a defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, James broke the record of an all-time top scorer in NBA history.
After the game, James talked in a post-game interview and revealed a couple of things about his future. Apart from his future, he talked about the Lakers’ recent form, upcoming games, and play-off chances.

LeBron James talked to Shaquille O’Neal in a post-match interview and said, “I know I can play a couple more years. It’s all about my mind.” James, on his personal level, is playing on an astounding level this season. So far in the 2022-23 season, King James is averaging 30.2 points per game. While his stats are not expected to be that much better at 38 years of age, this simply proves that he still has got a lot left. Being his 20th year in the league, James is showing day in and day out why he is different.

Having signed the contract extension already till 2024, James is determined to play well beyond. He is already aiming for other records while adding much more to the already achieved records.
LeBron James breaks the decades-old record
It surely was not a great night for the Lakers against the Thunder, but for King James, it was surely one of the biggest nights of his life. James was able to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 39-year-old all-time scoring record in the NBA during the loss. LeBron James scored 38 points and assisted three on the record-breaking night. Now LeBron James stands first in the all-time scoring list and fourth in the all-time assist list.

While the game ended as a defeat for the Lakers, with the scoreboard showing the final score as 130-133, it did not stop the 38-year-old record achiever from talking about his future.
