The LA Rams are having a nightmare of a season. The Rams are third in the NFC West Division. They lost their last game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and right now the playoffs seem like a distant possibility. However, LA’s worries compounded, even more, this week because of injuries.

LA Rams are the reigning Super Bowl champions. However, they may not have one of the most critical pieces of their offense for the next few games. Quarterback Matthew Stafford has endured a concussion and is doubtful for the game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Matthew Stafford likely to miss a few games
Matthew Stafford arrived from the Detroit Lions in 2021 and quarterbacked the Rams to their second franchise Super Bowl championship. Stafford has a dynamic connection with the Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp. Matthew threw for 283 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 23-20 Super Bowl victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, things are tougher this season.

With Matthew Stafford likely to be sidelined, the LA Rams have a backup quarterback in John Wolford for the Cardinals matchup. The Rams have now lost two in a row and losing a crucial offensive force in the mid-season might turn out to be costly for the Los Angeles franchise.

Stat Padford isn’t that injury prone
The 34-year-old QB’s injury comes as a shock to many fans who are aware of Stafford’s fitness levels. Matthew Stafford hasn’t missed a game due to injuries since 2019 while he was with the Detroit Lions. The reigning Super Bowl MVP is a driving force for the Kupp-led offense and is the perfect complement to Aaron Donald and the dynamic LA Rams defense.
