Mavericks guard Luka Doncic named Western Conference Player of the Week

Luka Doncic has added another accolade to his prolific 2023-24 season.
The NBA announced Monday that the star Dallas Mavericks guard was named Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from Monday, Feb. 5 through Sunday, Feb. 11. It’s the second time Doncic has won the award this season (the 11th time in his career).
Doncic led the Mavericks to a 4-0 week with averages of 31.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
His 11 career POW awards have all come since 2019-20, the most by any Western Conference player over the past five seasons and second-most by any player overall during that stretch (Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo has earned 14).
