The Chicago White Sox are expected to trade their ace Garrett Crochet before the 2025 season gets underway. He’s at his highest trade value this offseason and the White Sox likely won’t be able to extend his contract before it expires.
More than likely, the White Sox will wait until after the top free agent pitchers sign. Once those pitchers sign, there will be a lot fewer options for teams to pick up pitchers, therefore driving up the value of Crochet by quite a bit.
