NBA DFS: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Sunday, Nov. 12 include Zion Williamson

The Sunday NBA schedule is packed with wall-to-wall action and that means plenty of opportunities to win big in NBA DFS tournaments, cash games and 50-50s on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings. Once again, Nuggets center Nikola Jokic is off to a red-hot start, averaging 29.1 points, 12.9 rebounds and 8.0 assists for the defending world champions. Jokic and the Nuggets will take on the surprising Rockets on Sunday evening and the two-time MVP is sure to be a popular option for NBA DFS lineups.
However, with Houston ranked fourth in the NBA in points allowed per game (106.0) and seventh in defensive rating (108.4), might there be better options in the NBA DFS player pool? It’s a busy day in the NBA and you’ll have to find a few value plays to afford stars like Jokic, Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Stephen Curry. Before making your NBA DFS picks, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

On Saturday, McClure highlighted Heat center Bam Adebayo as one of his top picks in his NBA DFS player pool on both sites. Anybody who included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Top NBA DFS picks for Sunday, November 12
For Sunday, one of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant, who is listed at $7,300 on DraftKings and $6,800 on FanDuel. After averaging 20.5 points per game last season and shooting a career-best 40.1% from the 3-point line, Grant is off to another hot start in 2023-24.
The veteran forward is averaging 22.8 points and 4.9 rebounds over eight games and his scoring output has increased in every game that he’s played since the start of the season. Grant had 38 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks against the Kings on Wednesday and he’s worthy of consideration for your NBA DFS lineups on Sunday.
Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Pelicans forward Zion Williamson ($8,800 on DraftKings and $8,100 on FanDuel). The former No. 1 overall pick is averaging 22.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game this season.
He’s scored at least 20 points in his last four games and has only missed two games so far after playing only 114 games over his first four seasons in the NBA. Now he’ll match up with a Dallas defense that ranks 23rd in the NBA in points allowed per game (116.9) and defensive rating (115.5). See McClure’s other NBA DFS picks right here.
