He also mentioned how the former shortstop worked his way to the top to earn those five World Series rings. He said, “It’s the same guy every day. You wouldn’t know if he was 0 for 20 or 20 for 20. He did the same every single day. When he came to the cage, it was the same routine; it was the same drills. He never got off that, he never got away from it.”
