The top target all along, Kubiak’s hire gives coach Dennis Allen a rising play-caller who was coveted by several other teams“, his post on X read. Carmichael was appointed in 2021 after Sean Payton stepped down. Son of Gary Kubiak, Klint Kubiak has coached in his veins. Gary played a revolutionary role in NFL rushing attacks as an assistant coach, and his legacy further strengthened after winning the Super Bowl as a head coach with the Denver Broncos in 2015. His son, Klint, learnt the offense lessons from him, and started his career at Texas A&M in 2010-11. 2 years later, he got his biggest opportunity.
Klint was hired by the Minnesota Vikings in 2013 as an offensive quality control, where he also got the chance to work under Bill Musgrave and Norv Turner. However, later in 2015, he switched to college football at the University of Kansas. But soon enough, he came back and was hired by the Denver Broncos. He joined the Minnesota Vikings for the second time in 2019, but moved back to the Broncos in 2021. Two years later, he led the San Francisco 49ers to Super Bowl LVIII and will hope to change the result with the Saints.
