In an interview with Golf Week, the 39-year-old discussed what lies ahead for him. The American golfer started his year at The Sentry by serving as a sports analyst for NBC. With a favorable reception from the golf world, fans started to wonder will Kisner drop professional golf. But he has debunked all these thoughts by referring to this new role as “just a hobby.” Furthermore, he also revealed he is scheduled until the WM Phoenix Open only and has no further gigs.
“I have no idea what NBC’s intentions are, but Tommy [Roy] asked me to help them out when they knew they weren’t renewing [Paul] Azinger, so I picked these two [events] to do,” he said. Kevin Kisner also plans to play for the entirety of this year.

He went on to say he would make more money playing professionally. But his outlook towards Jay Monahan and Co. has changed recently. So it won’t be surprising if he switches to the NBC analyst role soon.
Kisner criticizes the SSG investment
The 39-year-old is one of the few people who feel the SSG deal is not an ideal one. He said, “[The PGA Tour] is never going to get $3 billion. I think they’re going to get one and a half.” He further went on to state how a major chunk of this will go to smart people who “know how to run businesses.”

With these words, he has implied that there is a chance the PGA Tour players may not get the money. Furthermore, he thinks the money PIF will be bringing to the PGA Tour is worth taking. This lands him in a club opposite Jordan Spieth, who thinks the SSG investment is more than enough.
Kevin Kisner is showing the same ideology that Rory McIlroy believes in. The 39-year-old just wants the best golf players to compete together. But for his wish to come true, he would have to look forward to the PGA Tour and PIF being on level ground.
