His interest in sports had a wider variety and golf was always among his favorites. Therefore, the golf course is where Jeter and Paige had their personal acquaintance and the latter soon became his fan.

Interestingly, Paige got paired with Jeter as her fellow contestant at the event. When talking about Paige, she is a golf instructor and social media personality with previous experience as a professional golfer. She has got a humongous following of 3.7 million fans on Instagram. Recently, she posted a question asking her followers about their favorite athletes.

One of the fans replied by picking Derek Jeter as his favorite. Spiranac replied to the post, quoting, “I’ve played golf with him before and he is one of the nicest people around.” Thus, Paige has yet again displayed her fondness towards Jeter.

However, it wasn’t the first occasion where Paige heaped the praise on Jeter. Previously, she couldn’t stop gushing over Jeter’s personality after playing golf together. She mentioned how Jeter was very friendly in his approach. Thus, Jeter’s attitude made a large impression on Paige.
What did Paige say while recalling her playing experience with Jeter?
Speaking on the Playing A Round podcast, Paige described her playing experience with Jeter, by saying, “Again, just one of the coolest, coolest, nicest guys that I’ve met, which is always nice when you have that experience because there’s been so many times when I’ve met someone, who I was really excited to meet, and I was really disappointed with the interaction that I had with them.”
