The New York Yankees are deep into the Juan Soto sweepstakes right now. They’re so invested in Soto that all the other free agents aren’t gaining very much attention at all.
This includes their free agent second baseman, Gleyber Torres, who Spotrac projects to sign a three-year, $20 million contract this winter. New York has been connected to a few different Torres replacements, including the idea of adding a third baseman and moving Jazz Chisholm Jr. over to second base.
But if the Yankees elect to not to re-sign Torres, who will?
Nick Villano of FanSided recently projected Torres to leave the Yankees. Villano suggests Torres will sign with the San Francisco Giants as a part of their plan to dethrone the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West.
