Even though Ryan Preece may have done to Kyle Larson at Bristol what many people consider right and justified, Larson fans, of course, didn’t think so. The Stewart Haas Racing driver and the #5 had a bit of a thing going on during last week’s dirt race, from which the latter came out worse.
And as if things weren’t sour enough for the Larson fanbase after that, the guy who they deemed responsible for ending their race at Bristol got the pole position at Martinsville.
But as you’d expect, Larson fans weren’t particularly pleased with that.

Kyle Larson fans bash Ryan Preece’s pole position
With an average speed of 94.780 mph at Martinsville, Preece grabbed the pole ahead of Daniel Suarez, while Kyle Larson could manage a speed that ensured he’ll start from 19th.

Ryan Preece claims “I’m capable” of competing to win after his first pole
Preece spoke after grabbing the first Cup pole of his career. He opened up on his mentality, where he sees himself, and how he feels about not starting in the back.
“As a race car driver you want to come here, you want to compete, you want to win races and I know my team is capable of that. I know I’m capable of that,” Preece said as per Motorsport. “It’s really just been trying to put it all together and get the finishes that you feel you deserve.

With that said, do you think Preece can capitalize on his pole in the race? Or could Kyle Larson have his payback day?
