However, her iconic celebration after winning the 2007 Australian Open is something fans can’t forget. Serena Williams has a near-perfect record against Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova.
While the excitement of the final was there, the Russian was no match for Serena as she easily defeated Sharapova in straight sets to clinch her third Australian Open title.
