23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams, is besties with some of the most prominent names; spanning various fields. Though her first best friend is her older sister, and the 7-time Grand Slam Champion, the list also includes the royalty, Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and, of course, the music royalty, Beyonce. And recently, the tennis legend seems to be following Beyonce’s tracks everywhere.
The 41-year-old has always been vocal about her love for music, and her deep connection with Beyonce has been the talk of the town, now and then.

Serena Williams shares her admiration for Beyonce’s work
Recently, during a talk with the tennis influencer, Issac Gaulden, at Serve It Up, Serena opened up about how she follows Beyonce, or rather the Music royalty, never leaving the Tennis legend.
Gaulden questioned the American tennis legend about her thoughts regarding Beyonce’s Renaissance, as the 23-time Grand Slam champion is a music lover herself. He asked, “I know you love music… I’ve heard about the Karaoke and all the different fun you’ve had… Your girl Beyonce, she dropped the song Renaissance… wanted to understand or learn how did you, what did you think about it?”

Williams responded with excitement while admiring Beyonce’s music. She said, “Yeah, she dropped that album and it was just amazing. It’s a really good song on that album. And obviously, I’m a big fan and so just really happy for her… I think it’s cool, she’s making music. And it’s cool that people are defining just music and not you know anything else… I love that.”

Issac further inquired about the American tennis legend’s taste for music, these days. He said, “You have a favorite cut, and what are you listening to these days?”

And Williams responded by saying, “So what I’m listening to? I’m listening to a lot of stuff on the radio and she is on the radio all the time, so I’m missing a lot of her.”
