COLUMBIA, S.C. — It doesn’t feel like spring as Columbia is about to venture through its coldest stretch of weather in more than a decade.
But the 20th-ranked South Carolina women’s tennis team has begun its spring schedule as it hosted Charleston Southern and Coastal Carolina for a pair of matches Sunday at the Carolina Indoor Tennis Center.
After defeating Charleston Southern 5-0, the Gamecocks defeated Coastal Carolina by that same score.
