Joe Rogan once voiced for NASCAR and people who want to do what they love in life. On his podcast, after detailing an honest confession from Dale Earnhardt Jr. when he appeared on his show in 2018, the UFC commentator called NASCAR one of the ‘scariest’ sports and yet offered it should not be stopped.

The world’s biggest podcast host quit college midway as he saw nothing but darkness during his academics. Afterward, the martial arts enthusiast witnessed extreme controlled violence in life, as it was executed by highly professional and trained UFC fighters. Both translate into his views on his podcast. Consequently, the podcaster pitches in and supports unique ideas on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
Rogan described what Dale Earnhardt Jr. told him about his injuries
Talking about people should be allowed to do what they love despite others’ opinions. Rogan said, “Are we going to take away race car driving? Because that’s one of the scariest goddamn things a person could do.”

The JRE host continued his thoughts and mentioned, “I had Dale Earnhardt Jr on this podcast. And he went in-depth about brain damage that he’s gotten from multiple crashes.”
Rogan also pointed out that Earnhardt Jr.’s father had passed away in an on-track accident.
“That’s Dale Earnhardt Jr; And this is after his dad is gone, right? It’s a f***ing scary way to make a living. Arguably more scary than fighting,” the UFC analyst said.

The former Fear Factor host gave an example of Demetrious Johnson, who barely took any damage in the sport to support his claim that NASCAR was more brutal than MMA.

However, the Cagefighting commentator felt elites not taking damage was not the case in motorsport.
“[There are] elite NASCAR drivers that wind up in these crazy collisions and sent through the air and they wind up in the hospital,” he said.

Despite covering the dangers of the sport, the veteran UFC commentator still maintained, “I don’t think we should stop. I think we should let people do whatever they want.”
Earlier, during his conversation with the renowned podcaster Rogan, Earnhardt Jr. had talked about his relationship with his father.
